Visualizing Deep Learning with Grid Patterns _ Deep Learning, Through Repeating Grids

This is an office project for SAIGE Research, a company specializing in industrial automation through AI-based machine vision solutions. Timed to coincide with the brand's renewal, the project took as its starting point the reflection of a new identity within the space. To translate the structure of deep learning—where data is learned layer upon layer—into spatial language, we created depth by varying the finishes from surface to surface and stacking grids repeatedly. While maintaining the clean, refined mood befitting a tech company, we struck a balance through contrasts in finishes and the rhythm of the grids so that the space would never feel monotonous or cold. In keeping with the company's character, where server-operating infrastructure is central, we also placed considerable weight on building the server room and planning its facilities.
