    The First Design Proposal

    ABOUT 7 DAYS – 10 DAYS

    When you contact us by email or phone, SPACEBASE sends a pre-meeting checklist.

    After receiving the completed checklist, we hold the first meeting — typically on-site at the planned construction location.

    Our designers assess site conditions and deliver a floor plan, design references, and an initial estimate from our construction office.

  2. 02

    Contract

    We proceed with a preliminary contract based on the first proposal and quote.

    Design revisions to the first proposal are handled after the preliminary contract.

  3. 03

    Secondary Design Proposal

    ABOUT 7 DAYS – 10 DAYS

    We incorporate revisions to the first proposal in the secondary proposal, including construction drawings.

    We deliver proposals for custom and ready-made furniture, propose finishes for each area, and prepare on-site construction drawings.

    The quote, schedule, and contract are delivered together.

  4. 04

    Construction

    ABOUT 30 DAYS – 40 DAYS

    Our construction team begins on-site work.

    During construction, we propose detailed designs for furniture, signage, and accessories.

    We hold on-site meetings aligned with progress and submit weekly construction reports so you can track site conditions.

  5. 05

    Completion & AS

    We conduct a completion inspection with the client at the finished site, addressing any items raised within one week.

    After completion, we issue a defect performance bond.

    We provide one year of after-sales service — our construction team responds quickly to any AS request to ensure uninterrupted use.

Frequently Asked Questions

What scale of projects do you handle?
We work across a wide range of scales based on area, square footage, and budget — from 200 pyeong to large corporate buildings over 1,000 pyeong. We review your space goals and budget together to propose the optimal design direction.
How long does it take from design to completion?
The standard timeline is approximately 7-10 days for the first proposal, 7-10 days for the secondary proposal, and 30-40 days for construction. The schedule may adjust based on scale and scope, and a confirmed construction schedule is delivered at contract signing.
How many design revisions are possible?
Revisions to the first proposal are reflected in the secondary proposal after the preliminary contract. Changes after the secondary proposal are handled through separate consultation, and detailed designs for furniture, signage, and accessories remain adjustable during construction.
Can you handle design only?
While our standard is design plus construction together, design-only engagements are also possible. When construction is separated, we provide a collaboration guide based on drawings and specifications.
How does after-sales service work after completion?
We provide one year of AS after completion. The construction team responds promptly when an AS request is received, and a defect performance bond is issued at the time of completion.
