Star Trek _ Star Trek

This is the brain imaging center project for Neurogazer, a company that operates brain-science-based aptitude testing and research services. The visual imagery of Star Trek, a long-standing interest of the CEO, serves as the origin of the company logo, and this space was likewise composed based on that identity. The floor plan was planned around a circular structure reminiscent of the bridge of a Star Trek starship, with the MRI scanning room placed at the center and the waiting, consultation, and work areas arranged around it. We shaped the overall atmosphere of the space so that children, the primary users, would feel as if they had entered a spaceship rather than a hospital, reducing their aversion to the unfamiliar testing environment and allowing them to naturally become interested.
